         Due to Covid-19 pandemic, Indian Premier League 2020 is happening in the month of September.

         This time ipl is taking place in UAE due to COVID-19 pandemic.All franchise players went to UAE and  started practice after their quarantine period. Virat kohli on Instagram posted happily as he returned to cricket field after 4 months.

          BCCI is keen to start IPL as it will be a great loss for them if they failed to. Arrangements have been done perfectly so that players are safe till the end of this season.

         Ipl fever have started as it is going to start in two weeks. People are excited for IPL as the t20 world cup which is being scheduled to happen this year is postponed to next year. As IPL is happening in September, cricket lovers will never miss w t20 2020.

          We decided to bring you a series of articles on Squad analysis of all teams in IPL 2020.

         In this article, we tried to give you the complete squad analysis of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Let's enter RCB's camp and analyse their squad's plus and minus.

Batting

       Over these years, rcb are always strong in their batting as the batting line is led by world's number one batsman Virat kohli. Virat kohli gives his best when he comes to bat. Being a captain of rcb, he is taking more responsibility as batman. So we can expect him to score more runs like he did in 2016. Cricket lovers will never forget virat kohli centuries in 2016. 

       Another important batsman in RCB is Mr. 360° A B De Villiers. He has been a great asset to RCB over these years. A B De Villiers video of hitting sixes with vil scoop in old IPL is still in my mind.Though he was retired, he is in great touch. He played well in solidarity cup and PSL. His experience will definitely help RCB in batting department.

      The next batsman who have great experience in IPL is Parthiv Patel. He is contributing in the upper order for rcb in recent years. He is also an experienced wicket keeper. He will open the innings as usual.
     
      

      Another wicket keeper batsman in RCB is Joshua Philippe. He is in great form as he was the leading run scorer in the recently finished BBL tournament. He also paved the way for Sydney sixers to win the trophy. He is an aggressive batsman who will be very useful for RCB. He will be considered to open along with Parthiv Patel in the absence of Aaron Finch. In this sense, he will not keep the wickets. In the absence of Parthiv Patel, he may keep the wickets.

     Devdutt Padikkal, an uncapped player from Karnataka who played really well in U-19 circuit. He also performed well in Vijay hazare trophy and Syed Mustaq Ali trophy.

    On paper, RCB's batting line up looks balanced and good. We have wait and watch how they perform in IPL 2020.

All rounders

         Washington Sundar is a young bowling all rounder from Tamilnadu in RCB squad. He performed good for Rising Pune Supergiants four years back. He has the ability to bowl in first power play with the new ball. He can score some quick runs in the lower order as well.

        Shivam Dube is another young all rounder in RCB. He has a reputation of aggressive batting but so far he not yet showed any sign of it. He is a medium pacer who supported the bowling department of RCB in recent years. He can take wickets but he is not so economical.

         Pawan Negi is another bowling all rounder who played well in the past for CSK (Chennai Super Kings) but he after he came to RCB his performance is pretty much average. As a off spinner he bowled well in some matches last year but he was very expensive.

          Gurkeerat Mann Singh is a valuable all rounder in RCB squad. He is a good batting all rounder. He can bowl as well but it not ideal to use him for all four overs in a match. He also not yet played well for RCB as he played for Kings XI Punjab.

         Another young all rounder is Pavan Deshpande from Karnataka. He played really well in this domestic season. This left handed batsman in is expected to have a place in playing 11 in the absence of Shivam Dube or Pawan Negi. He is an off break bowler. Let's see whether he gets a chance to playing 11.

        Shabaz Ahmed is another young all rounder who is awaiting to show his talent in this year IPL. This is his first IPL. He earned RCB contract due to his good performance in Ranji trophy. He is a left handed batsman who can bowl left arm orthodox.

      On paper, RCB's all rounders seem to be inexperienced with some fire power. Let's see what these all rounders can contribute to RCB's victory in this IPL.

Bowling

           Dale Steyn is one of the experienced and best bowlers in limited overs cricket. He also has a great experience in IPL. His performance for Deccan Chargers will never be forgotten. He is still fit and he is expected to lead the bowling attack of RCB. Last year he only played only three matches and left the tournament due to injury. If he play for the whole tournament this year, it will add a lot of value to RCB's bowling attack.

         Umesh Yadav is leading RCB's bowling attack in recent years. As we all know, he is known for his pace. He bowl very well in power play overs but in death overs he is very expensive. If he is used wisely, he will definitely deadly along with Dale Steyn at the other end.

        Navdeep Saini is another young speed gun from RCB. He can bowl at a very good pace. His performance for RCB paved way for his international cricket debut. He performed really well for RCB both in starting and death overs. He will take care of death overs for RCB.

         Mohammad Siraj is a young fast bowler who has been in RCB squad for the recent few years. He is very expensive and rarely takes wickets. So far, he not yet delivered the performance he intended to. Let's see what he is going to do this year.

       Yuzuvendra Chahal is a brilliant leg spinner in RCB squad. He is leading the spin attack of RCB in recent years. He is the go to bowler of Virat Kohli. He is constantly bowling good for RCB by taking important wickets and bowling economically. As a leading spinner in international cricket, he may definitely perform well RCB in this year as well.

        Adam Zampa is most recent addition to RCB squad. He is a replacement for Kane Richardson who left this season due to personal reasons. Adam Zampa is the leading led spinner in Australian white ball cricket. He performed exceptionally well for Rising Pune Supergiants in the past. We have to wait to see whether his addition is a benefit to RCB.

        Isuru Udana was bought in this year's IPL auction. He is leading bowler in Srilankan t20 cricket. He can score some run with bat as well down the order. He will be a back up to Dale Steyn.

      On paper, bowling attack of RCB is pretty much good. Their performance depends on how well they are being used.

      This is the squad of Royal Challengers Bangalore. On paper, the squad looks good. But they are lacking some experience in all rounders. Every year, RCB failed to do what they have been expected. Virat kohli's desperate need to win IPL trophy was going in vain every year due to lack of coordination and planning. Let's see what RCB gonna do in this IPL.
