On the occasion of Ar Rahman's birthday, Cobra team announced that the anticipated teaser of the Vikram biggie will release on 8th January. As they said, the makers released the teaser of Cobra which promised to be a mind bending thriller with interesting premise.
Chiyaan Vikram plays 7 different roles in this movie out of which 3 looks were revealed in the teaser. Debutant cinematographer Harish Krishnan's work was top notch in the teaser. Mozart A. R. Rahman gave a spine chilling score for this teaser which perfectly sets the mood of this movie. New sounding indeed.
As evident from the posters and title look, this teaser further confirms that this movie will be a massive comeback for Chiyaan Vikram. This teaser received a great reception and has a record 11M views in YouTube. Cobra - Interestingly intriguing.

Indian 2, the sequel of blockbuster film Indian directed by maverick filmmaker Shankar, starring Padma Shri Kamal Hassan and music by Anirudh Ravichandhar faced lot of hurdles right from the start of the shoot. The shoot is currently on hold due to the difference of opinion between Lyca productions and Shankar.
Now the good news for Kamal Hassan's fans is that the movie's shoot is finally going to start soon but without Kamal as he was busy with political campaigns and his commitment to shoot for Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. After a long time, some positivity is surrounding Indian 2. Let's hope it continues without any hurdles. There is always light at the end of the tunnel but when?
Mani Ratnam to complete a big schedule of Ponniyin Selvan on trot

Ponniyin Selvan is one of the ambitious project in Kollywood. It is based on legendary novel of the same name written by Amarar Kalki. Several filmmakers and actors tried to recreate the golden era of cholas in silver screen but stopped halfway due to the lack of facilities. Even Mani Ratnam once started Ponniyin Selvan with Thalapathy Vijay and Mahesh Babu but could move further due budget constraints.
But nowadays a lot of technological advancements are available and producers are willing to spend money, Mani Ratnam started his dream project and already completed a schedule in Thailand. After a long break, Mani Ratnam resumed shooting of this prestigious flick in grand sets erected by Art director Thotta Dharani in Ramoji Rao Film city, Hyderabad. Being a multistarrer, this involves lot of big names including Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Sarath Kumar, Parthiban and many more. In this big schedule, Mani Ratnam planned to shoot some important sequences of the film.
Recently Aishwarya Rai who plays the roles of Nandini and Mandhagini, joined the shoot and shot an important sequence with Sarath Kumar who plays Periya Pazhuvettarayar. A grand song was also shot. Music by A. R. Rahman, this flick is said to have 12 tracks and A. R. Rahman also revealed in one of the interviews that scoring for Ponniyin Selvan is one of the toughest task. We can expect the beginning of golden era at the end of this year.

After a decade of genius filmmaker Selvaragavan reunited with his favourites Dhanush, Yuvan and Aravind Krishna for a quick flick produced by Kalapuli S. Thanu. Recently, he conducted photoshoot for this movie. Tentatively called S12, Selvaragavan announced that the title look of this movie drops on 13th January, 7 pm with an announcement poster. From the announcement poster this movie is expected to be a travel thriller set in forest. It is also said that a Jeep is expected to play a crucial role. Let's see what is the title. A new world is awaiting.
