        We just now stepped into a new year. We don't know what surprises are awaiting. But the technology field is awaiting with lot of surprises. As the world has become largely dependent on virtual technology due to the ongoing pandemic, great developments in the tech field are expected. 

         We have decided to do a series of posts called "Tech Flash" that would cover the monthly tech news, including new launches, developments in brands, tech events and lot more. In these series of posts, we covered the latest news on visible technologies if different brands.

Let's enter this "January tech garden".

Samsung

Samsung never failed to amaze us with their outstanding innovations. Recently they set the tech field on fire by launching Galaxy Z fold 2 and Samsung note 20 ultra. This Galaxy Z fold 2 had a great design which becomes a phone when folded and becomes a tablet when unfolded.

Now Samsung announced that they are going to held the "unpacked" event on January 14th in which they are going to release various exclusive products with a teaser. In this event, Samsung is expected to launch Samsung S21, S21 ultra and S21+ smartphones. All three have S pen support.

Samsung S21 ultra has a curved display while the other two have flat displays. It is powered by Snapdragon 888 in US and Korea while Indian variant has Exynos 2100 which became a controversy. Hope Samsung solve this soon as India is a big smartphone market.  

Also there is a great anticipation that Samsung is going to launch Galaxy buds, wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation.

Mi

The budget segment king are keen to start this year with a bang. They keep on launching value for money smartphones periodically and always take a lead inspite of heavy competition in this segment.

Now they are launching a mid range smartphone, Mi 10i. It will have a quad camera setup with big 108 MP primary camera while the other three cameras are 8 MP ultra wide, 2 MP  macro and 2 MP depth. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 750G SoC (System on a Chip) with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage as the highest variant and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage as the base variant. Its price is 22,999INR.

One thing you should have to  concern while choosing MI phones is that the software experience they don't have excellent track record regarding the software in the recent past recently after the update of Android 11 so many MI A3 users reported serious bug issues that they cant able to to use the the mobile phone any more. The tech leads should consider these kinds of issues seriously and ensures the MI fans and the customer a seamless software experience. But their hardware is just ultimate for the price they are offering.

Sony

Sony, one of the experts in producing quality listening devices are also known for their popular gaming console Play Station. 

Four instalments of Play Station released which were huge success. Now they are going to release the next installment Play Station 5 which grabbed the attention of many even before the launch mainly due to it's attractive look and features.

Sony is going to launch PS 5 on February, 2021 in India. PS 5 comes in two versions. One is digital only and the other is regular version.  The price of digital version is 39,990 INR and the price of regular version is 49,990 INR. The pre ordering starts from January 12th at 12 PM. Gamers be ready otherwise you won't get PS 5, as it will be easily run out of stock due to it's increased demand.

OnePlus

After the huge success of oneplus nord the company make their way in the fitness area. Yes, One plus is planning to launch a brand new fitness tracker in a budget segment which is expected to be a direct competition to the existing MI band 5 and other realme bands.

Oneplus also tipped that the launch of this fitness tracker is expected to be on January 11 2021. It is packed with 3x accelerometer, gyroscope and also it is packed with the special SPO2 blood oxygen monitoring system. In the front it is covered with 1.1 inch AMOLED panel. Is expected to be priced at 2,500 Indian rupees (Expected). Will it be a good competitor to Mi band 5 which is a successful fitness tracker in budget segment or they lose to Mi like they did in launching budget smart TV, Y series? Let's wait for some time.

The techno giant Apple doesn't need any introduction the name itself is enough for its fans around the world. Recently recently updated in our Instagram page that apple's going to to make 3nm bionic chipset for future Apple phones and they made it with the help of TSMC (Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company).

Now Apple is coming with new foldable mobile phone for the first time in the history of Apple Play comes update dual display foldable technology that too clam shell technology they also added that their prototype passes all sorts of internal build test. This phone is expected to be launched on  September 2022.

LG  

This brand is known for its innovation in the recent past they made lot of innovations in the mobile phones especially the lg8x after the flipkart big billion day sale become very popular among us. In that fashion LG also launches lg wing with flip and fold mechanism and with OLED display.

Now they decided to bring that fashion in the TV industries also LG tipped that they are ready to launch curved OLED TV. Main feature of this TV is that it's a normal OLED TV but when needed we should able to make it as a curved OLED TV especially during gaming sessions. Besides they also claimed that the response time of this TV is 0.1 millisecond which is just insane...!
